Our butt weld crosses are manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.9 and are manufactured, tested, and certified in accordance with ASTM A234, A403, A420, A815, B366, and MSS-SP-75, depending on the material grade. Contact Sales for material grades not covered by these specifications. Our size on size butt weld crosses 6″ and under are available seamless, manufactured from forgings. All other sizes and reducing sizes are made from butt weld tees that are split, welded, and ultrasonically examined using phased array technology.
